Your current site publishes two different schedules: the homepage lists Summer Hours — Wed–Sat 11–6, Sun 1–5, First Fridays 12–7:30, while the Hours & Services page still lists Wed–Sat 12–6. We've published the homepage “Summer Hours” version here as the base.
Please confirm: do your hours actually change seasonally, and what is the accurate year-round schedule (including Sundays and First Fridays)? We'll lock in one canonical set of hours across every page as soon as you tell us.

What we can do for you
Shelf Service
Email and tell us about what you like and loathe. We'll select an assortment of books especially for you, display them with clearly visible prices, and send you a photo of the group so you can browse and choose the books you'd like to purchase. Providing this service takes time — we greatly appreciate your patience if we don't get back to you for a few days.
Recommendations & Stock Checks
Talk with our staff when you're in the shop, or call us. We're happy to check our stock for specific titles you're looking for — and just as happy to recommend books we think you'll love.
Curbside Pickup
Available during all of our business hours. Call ahead, park out front, and we'll bring your books out to you.
Shipping
Within the continental US, media mail shipping/handling is $3.99 for the first book and $1 for each additional book. Heavy items cost more, but we'll always try to make you the best deal possible. We take special care to pack well so your books arrive safely.
Request List
We're happy to keep an eye out for books you're looking for. Requests stay active for four months. If you haven't heard from us and you're still interested, call to renew your request. You are never obligated to purchase books we find for you.
Hold Shelf
We'll hold books you'd like to purchase. Because space is limited, we ask customers to limit holds to 5 books. We hold books for two weeks and usually send a reminder after the first week.
Out front
The Bargain Cabinet
Bargain books begin their life in our outside cabinets and carts with a yellow $5 sticker. After some time, they'll get a bright orange $3 sticker… then a dark orange/red $1 sticker. We add stock and reduce prices periodically — watch for great deals.

FREE Bins: almost every day, we have bins of free books outside our door. Feel free to contribute books to the FREE Bins anytime — they're sure to find new, loving homes. Your generosity is appreciated!
